    Are you the mom of a preschooler? Do you long for community and a place to connect? Join us on the first Thursday of the month starting in September for MOPS. Food, fellowship, and time with other moms! Childcare is provided! Register here

  • financial peace university - starts sept. 20

  • Cataloochee Elk viewing trip - Sept. 25

    Everyone is invited as we head to Cataloochee to spend the afternoon viewing the elk of the Great Smoky Mountains.  For more information and to register, click here.

  • Church picnic - Sept. 30

    Join us as the elders and their wives host our Annual Church Picnic at the church.  The elders will be preparing hamburgers and hotdogs.  Everyone who attends is asked to make a suggested donation of a dollar per person to offset the cost of the meat and to bring a side item.  Let us know you are coming by registering here!

  • blitz men's retreat - oct. 5-6

    Gentlemen, join us as we head to Appalachian Christian Camp for our first ever men's retreat.  This retreat will include events and activities geared towards men.  For more information and to register, click here.

  • corn maze at oakes family farm - October 13

    7th - 12th grade students are invited to join us on our trip to the Oakes Family Farm in Corryton, TN.  Enjoy the 9 acre corn maze, a hayride to the pumpkin patch, and over 25 other activities.  Click here to register!

  • CIY SuperStart! - Oct. 19-20

    CIY SuperStart is a preteen event that exists to help preteen encounter Christ through worship, interactive teaching, and small groups.  All 4th - 6th grade students are encouraged to attend this event being held in Atlanta, GA.  Register!

  • Men's Hike to ramsey cascades - Oct. 20

    Gentlemen, join us as Jim Wilkin leads us on an 8 mile roundtrip hike to the beautiful Ramsey Cascades.  For information and to register, click here.

  • ladies' coffee & dessert night - oct 26

    Whether it is Pumpkin Bread, Traditional Chex Mix, or Salted Caramel Scones -- we want YOU to join us for a great evening of fellowship.  We are inviting all the women of SHCC to come out for a Coffee & Dessert night.  All we ask you to bring is your favorite Fall Dessert or Snack to share.  We will provide the beverages.  Sign up here to register for this free event.

  • Operation Christmas Child Collection

    In 2018 we would like to see 650 boxes sent out from Seymour Heights Christian Church to countries all around the world in cooperation with Operation Christmas Child.  In order to accomplish that goal, we collect different items each month to build those shoeboxes.  This month we are collecting small stuffed animals.  Please bring these to the designated area in the lobby!     The Tennessee Christian Teen Convention (TCTC) exists to pool the resources of churches in order to create an event which calls the casual, commits the called, and challenges the committed students of today's culture toward a deeper walk with Jesus.  Click here to learn more and register.
