    We are excited to announce that Chad Stowers has joined the Seymour Heights staff as our Youth Pastor.  Chad is an alumnus of Cincinnati Bible College.  He is originally from Louisville, Ky, but has lived in southern Indiana for the past 20 years.  Chad has been married to Chrissie for 13 years and they have 3 children - Benjamin (11), Caitlyn (9), and Sydney (3).

  • Girls night out - dinner at Gondolier - June 26th

  • Financial Peace University - Starting June 29th

    Tired of working hard and having nothing to show for it?  Join us as we take a look at Dave Ramsey's proven techniques for getting and staying out of debt and saving for the future.  Financial Peace University is a nine week class that meets every Thursday night at the church in Room F229. This class will teach you simple and proven money management techniques that will change your life and the life of your family.  Click here to register.   • women's hIKE TO iJAMS nATURE cENTER - jULY 10TH

    Ladies, join us as we head to Ijam's Nature Center for a day of hiking and water activities.  We will hike along the French Broad River, see the "Three Rivers" where the French Broad, Holston and Tennessee Rivers meet.  We will walk past the sunflower fields.  Following a picnic lunch, we will spend time at the Mead Quarry canoeing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming or just enjoying the view.  For more information and to register, click here

  • Creative Arts Camp - July 17-21

    "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made...:

    This is the theme for the annual Creative Arts Camp for kids entering 2nd-6th grades.  We will spend a week discovering and celebrating the gifts that God has given to us.  Areas of interest include: music, art, drama, woodworking, sewing, painting and drawing.   • medic blood drive at shcc - July 19th

    MEDIC Regional Blood Center will be at the church on Wednesday, July 19th from 12:00pm-6:00pm in the upstairs classrooms.  Come out and support MEDIC and be a blessing to others by giving blood with us!  To find out more information about MEDIC, click here.

  • Got Gauley? - Men's rafting trip

    Gentlemen, clear your calendar!  We are working with Alpine Ministries to put together a men's rafting trip on the Gauley River in West Virginia, Sept. 22-23.  The trip will be for men 17 years of age and older.  Stay tuned for more information.
