  • preparing your son for every man's battle - apr. 16th

    Fathers, we invite you to join us on a six-week journey where we will be studying the book, "Preparing Your Son for Every Man's Battle".  Through this study you will learn how to prepare your sons for adolescence and living a life of purity in a dangerous world.   • women's wildflower hike - April 21

    Ladies, we are hiking Porter's Creek Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We will hike, have lunch together, and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.  We plan to meet at SHCC at 7:30am and return around 2:00pm. This hike is open to women ages 12 & up.  Younger hikers need to have an adult accompany them for the hike.  Details and registration can be found here.  Join us for a great day in God's creation -- and be sure to bring your camera! 

  • tim Hawkins live - Apr. 27th

    Christian comedian and entertainer Tim Hawkins will be doing a live performance in Knoxville on April 27th.  Everyone from the church is invited to join us as we take a group to the event.  To purchase tickets you must buy directly from the Tim Hawkins webpage.  For a link to the Tim Hawkins webpage and to sign up to ride the bus, click here.  This event sells out quickly so do not wait to purchase your tickets!

  • We want to hear your voice- April 28th

    We invite children grades k-3rd to join us from 3:30-4:30 in the Foundation to help us choose new worship songs! Help judge the best songs! Register here.

  • Men's Hike in the smokies - may 5

    Gentlemen, join us as we head to Kephart Prong Trail. Along the trail we will see an old Civilian Conservation Corps camp that once housed 700 people. We will also see the remains of a couple of cisterns for an old fish hatchery and possibly some wild flowers.

    This is a relatively easy 4.2 mile roundtrip hike. It is a good hike for first time hikers and younger boys. We will depart the church at 8:00am and return no later that 3:00pm. For this trip, you should pack a sack lunch, water, trail snacks, rain gear and wear good hiking boots. To register click here

  • Sevier Air - may 5th

    On Saturday, May 5 4th - 12th grade students are invited to jump and climb their hearts out at Sevier Air! Sevier Air features 38,000 feet of advanced and junior NInja Warrior Courses and trampolines! Click here to register and for more details! Registration closes after May 2.

  • Kids Movie outing- July 5

    Join us as we go see either Despicable Me or HOME at the Forge Cinemas and return to the church for Pizza after the movie. Grades k-6th invited to attend. $5 for Pizza :) Register here!

  • high school camp - jul. 9-13

    Three water parks. Ten indoor thrill rides. A 10,000-foot wave pool. a 19,000-gallon surfing experience. High School camp promises to present a different adventure every day. High School Camp is so much more than a camp. It's part of a strategy. HSC is about small group conversations where students can not only hear the message but interact, ask questions, debate, personalize, and apply it.  HSC is held at Wilderness at the Smokies Water Park Resort, and is for rising freshmen thru graduated seniors.  Register

  • Men's Whitewater rafting trip - Sept. 7-8

    Men join us as we head to West Virginia to raft the exciting Gualey River! This river has over 100 rapids, five of which are Class V's. To go, you must register before June 15th and spaces are limited. For more information and to register click here.

  • Cataloochee Elk viewing trip - Sept. 25

    Everyone is invited as we head to Cataloochee to spend the afternoon viewing the elk of the Great Smoky Mountains.  For more information and to register, click here.

  • Operation Christmas Child Collection

    In 2018 we would like to see 650 boxes sent out from Seymour Heights Christian Church to countries all around the world in cooperation with Operation Christmas Child.  In order to accomplish that goal, we collect different items each month to build those shoeboxes.  This month we are collecting small stuffed animals.  Please bring these to the designated area in the lobby!
