Randy Penwell Lead Pastor
Randy began his ministry with Seymour Heights Christian Church on February 1, 2008. He and Stephanie, the love of his life, have three children and two grandchildren. Randy is a graduate of Johnson Bible College and has served churches in Michigan and Indiana, before coming back to Tennessee. Randy likes being in the great outdoors, and enjoys hiking, gardening, fishing, and most of all he likes being abused by golf courses everywhere!
John Handlos Pastor of Evangelism and Discipleship
John and his family became members of SHCC in April 2006. John is a graduate of Johnson Bible College and joined the staff as a full-time pastor in 2009. He is excited to have the chance to minister to those both in the congregation and in the community. John enjoys spending time with his wife, Christine, and his children, Brandon and Casey.
Jim Knowles Pastor of Visitation
Jim Knowles came to Seymour Heights as a Summer Intern in 1988. He returned full-time on July 1, 1991. Jim now serves part-time as the Pastor of Visitation. He graduated from Milligan College in 1989, and attended Emmanuel School of Religion for 2 years. He enjoys reading, woodworking and gardening. He and his wife Nancy have two children, Angie Aubrey and Lori Higgins, and five grandchildren: Daniel, Andrew, Becca, Edison, and Caroline.
Adam Linsenbigler Children's Pastor
Adam is a 2006 graduate of Johnson Bible College with a Bachelor's in Children's Ministry and Bible. He grew up here at Seymour Heights and became the Children's Pastor in the summer of 2007. Adam married his beautiful wife, soul mate and best friend, Megan, in 2008.
Angie Aubrey Worship Director
Angie Aubrey came to Seymour Heights in 1996. Initially coming on staff as the administrative assistant, Angie volunteered with the music ministry until 2000, when she was hired as the Music Director. Angie holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Education from Milligan College. She enjoys a variety of creative hobbies including quilting and scrapbooking. Her favorite subjects to scrapbook are her family: Mark (husband) and two children, Edison and Caroline.
Barb McLoughlin Church Secretary
Barb spent about 15 years in the medical field and then moved into a career in what she calls her true ministry, Church Administration. In May of 2008, Barb says that she felt a strong "draw" to SHCC and began attending. She began working as the Church Secretary in January of 2009. Barb lives in Seymour with her husband Dan. They have a 14-year-old daughter, Caitlin.
