Creation Museum in Cincinnati

The vans leave at 9:00 a.m. for the Creation Museum. We are spending the night, and stopping in Renfro, KY, for a meal and some sightseeing. Costs include motel for one night, gas, museum fee (total of $77.00), plus your food. Sign-up on the bulletin board by April 2. You must make your own motel reservations by April 2 - tell them you are with the Keenagers of Seymour (1-800-241-2340).

Indian Museum in Townsend

We are going to the Indian Museum in Townsend, along with visiting the craft shops and lunch The Back Porch Restaurant. Cost of the museum and gas is about $5.00 per person, plus the cost of your meal. Sign-up on the bulletin board.

The Highlands Festival has crafts, antiques, photography, writing, food, arts, drama, self-guided walking tour, nature walks, and much more to enjoy. We are eating lunch at Martha Washington’s Restaurant. Cost is $25.00, which includes lunch and gas. Sign-up on the bulletin board by the kitchen.

We are going to visit Amish country where there is a greenhouse, woodmaking, leather shop, bakery, and huge general store containing just about anything used in your home. A fundraiser BBQ is put on by the Volunteer Fire Department serving chicken, pork, beans, slaw, drink, and your choice of 25+ kinds of pie for just $7.00 (2007 price). Cost for the trip is $10.00 per couple, plus your food. Sign-up by September 28 on the bulletin board.
