- Visitation Minister
I came to Seymour Heights as a "summer Intern" in 1988, and fell in love with this area, and this congregation. I've been privileged to serve here since July of 1991. I'm now only "part-time" ("part-time ministry"?), but quite excited about this Church's future. We have a chance to minister to an extremely fast-growing community, to many people without a church home.
The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19, 20) defines the Church's mission; Jesus intended for every Christian to become both a disciple, and a disciplemaker! Discipleship isn't complicated at all. It may be simply having a friend over for coffee, or helping change a tire, or listening to someone whose marriage is in trouble; in other words, showing them Christ's love. The early disciples didn't merely practice evangelism; they lived it!
Seymour Heights Christian Church is committed to putting the Great Commission into action, and " . . . make disciples of all nations . . ." Come join us in the most exciting work in the Universe!
