Second Saturday Service

The Youth sponsor a church-wide service project on the second Saturday of each month. We gather a list of needs in our church body and in the community beforehand. On Saturday morning, projects are assigned to families or groups.

KARM (Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries)

Our mission is to seek to rescue the poor and needy of the Knox area by providing recovery services in Jesus’ name. KARM provides meals; overnight, emergency and long-term shelter; and residential recovery services to the poor and homeless, victims of domestic violence, displaced families and disenfranchised men, women and children throughout the Knox area. Services also include community meals three times a day, seven days a week, including holidays; job training; employment and educational assistance; counseling services; and rehabilitation programs. Volunteers are vital to KARM’s programs and we welcome individuals and community groups to give their time and make a difference! SMARM (Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries)

Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries was established in 2001 through the efforts of a group of concerned citizens who came together to address the problem of homelessness and poverty in Sevier County. After prayerful consideration, they invited Knox Area Rescue Ministries to partner with them in seeking to provide emergency relief and other basic services for homeless and needy men, women and families in the Sevier County area. Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries is a Christ-centered, interdenominational ministry with a goal of reaching out to the hopeless and hurting in our community and providing them with renewed hope and an opportunity to come to faith in Christ or strengthening their faith in Christ through our meeting of their most basic needs for food, shelter, clothing and other services. Boys and Girls Club of Seymour

The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Women's Care Center of Sevierville

Services include: 24 hour helpline, Pregnancy Tests, Education on all pregnancy options, Confidential education on sexually transmitted diseases, Parenting Classes, Clothing Closet, and Community referrals for aid. This agency has put together a comprehensive and adaptable range of programs and measures designed to heighten awareness of elder abuse and increase prevention effectiveness throughout the community of East TN. Public education and awareness raising are important elements in preventing abuse and neglect. The aim of such efforts is to inform practitioners and the general public about the various types of abuse, how to identify the signs and symptoms of abuse, and where help can be obtained.
