Welcome to Kandoo Kids, the Children's Ministry of Seymour Heights Christian Church. It is our desire that your child's stay in "Kandoo Kids" will be a happy one and that you will be able to attend worship knowing that your child is receiving the best of care.
Kandoo Kids serves families with children from Birth- Elementary. Our mission is to partner with parents to lay a spiritual foundation in each child on their path to making a life changing connection with Jesus Christ. Kandoo Kids is not just childcare. We believe that even our youngest children can learn not only about Jesus, but also that He loves them. To do this, Kandoo Kids creates an environment that is intentional about certain intrinsic values.

What We Teach
Children have the remarkable ability to learn things. Studies have shown that the years from birth to age five are the most receptive time of a person's life. This is an amazing time and our goal is for every child to know who Jesus is and that He loves them before they leave Kandoo Springs. Children from age 5 to age 11 are beginning to determine for themselves what they believe. Our goal for this age is to provide solid biblical truths to help students form solid biblical values and decisions before they leave Downtown Kandoo.
Kandoo Springs
9-23 months old
We use a curriculum called Baby Beginnings by Gospel Light. The curriculum gives us everything we need to teach simple biblical truths .
2-5 years old
Elevate Jr. is a media-rich, interactive, and fun series that takes children on an 8-week long adventure where they learn a new biblical truth every week that corresponds to the overlying theme of the series.
Downtown Kandoo
5-11 years old
We use Elevate's Large Group/Small Group format. This too is an 8-week long adventure where they learn new biblical truths every week and learn ways to put what they've learned into practice.
